Battle Comms
-Everyone stays quiet, no swearing, listen to the caller, stay on topic. You will not talk over anyone. The only person whom you are to listen to is the caller and the commander. You may only talk when either granted strict permission or if you think your words will have a direct impact on our success. Keep the chat lines quiet as much as possible. When you do talk, you will use clear and concise terms to clearly describe your point.
Attack Pattern Alpha
-Heavy tanks pair up track to track(spaced apart to be able to angle)
all others stay behind the previous group. Upon engagement, they will break apart and “wolf pack them. Include spacing between heavies for wiggling. The mediums will be behind them and will branch off to encircle the designated target, so as to “swarm” the target.
Focus Fire
-The caller tees up the individual enemy target, then the team fires on the target. Keep firing until target is eliminated unless they pose a direct danger to your team. Firepower needs to be concentrated. A tank on low health can still do damage, a dead tank can’t do damage. Fire for the sake of your team rather than yourself. Focus your firepower.
Attack Pattern Beta
-When the enemy is focused in a small area, the top three members (usually heavies), will split into individual groups. Alpha team will then flank around the enemy team while focusing down the enemy heavy tank that the caller tees up.
Attack Pattern Gamma
-Occurs when we have less maneuverable tanks against fast, mobile tanks. We will find positions to go hull down and limit receiving fire. Don’t move so far away from each other so that you can’t focus enemies together and support your teammates. Orient your tank in such a way in which its strengths are used. Caller will determine scouts will go cap or return to help with the defence.
-Condition 1
-One person left on the allied team and is about to be about overrun, caller controls remaining tank. The caller makes the best decision due to the circumstances of the battle on where to position the remaining tank as effectively as possible.
-Condition 2
-We overwhelm enemy team with superiority and firepower, when this happens the caller will announce an attack pattern that is chosen depending on the situation.
-Condition Red
-When the base is being capped, mediums and fast tanks return to base to stop cap. If 1 or more tanks in cap, the remaining medium/light tanks will attack from as many different flanks as possible, while maintaining focus fire and battle comms.
Intermission
-This is the best and only time for breaks i.e. getting food and/or drink.
(Vocab.) Dynamic Battle
-The caller changes attack patterns or conditions based on how the battle is progressing.
